  • Ian does his song Satisfied in many different ways. But keep in mind: it's his song. He can play any way he wants, and until someone can do it better, (yeah right), they ought to just enjoy his music and his talent for songwriting.

  • Ian is a soul man...:)

  • lol Bukka and his cig!

  • Wow! Thanks for this post :-D

  • He looks like Christian Bale.

  • FUCKING BRILLIANT. End of story. Loved him from day one, seen him a number of times.... anything he does only makes me love and respect him more. Amazing. Thanks for sharing. :)

  • what a treat that must have been.

He rarely comes to NC--saw him in a bbq joint in Raleigh a couple yrs ago, he and I talked about the shows at Ziggys 15 yrs prior--helluva nice guy, and a masterful musician

  • I saw Ian on Friday night in Houston and he sang this song for 6 people in a corner of the bar after the show had "officially" ended! OMG, it was bone chilling and mind numbing. To say that it wasn't recognizable is ridiculous. No one, NO ONE, could ever do this song justice besides Ian.

  • Thanks for this post!! Got The Green Grass was one of my favorite CD's from Ian. I believe it was at this point in his career that he finally realized that he was going to decide where his music was going to go, and no record company executives were going to tell him how he should play his music. Ian's a great artist and true to his passion, that is what makes him great. Thanks again for the footage.

  • I was probably at that show -- I tried to go to all his Stillwater shows back in the day. Long live the Wormy Dog!
