The SVS Stryker TTRS achieved 4 world records with this 1 standing mile run of 231.66mph that was achieved in Oct 2007 at the Maxton Monster Mile in N.C. The TTRS is now the worlds fastest production car in the standing mile, the first production car to achieve over 230mph in 1 mile, the fastest car ever at the Maxton Mile and the worlds fastest standing mile car on E85. 2 weeks before this record breaking run in N.C. the SVS TTRS also competed at the Texas standing mile and set 2 new records for a Viper and any car on E85 at 223.5 mph which beat the previous record of 217. svspower.com

this is at maxton, and maxton is one of the worst, bumpiest worst tracks to drive on. It doesnt make much sense to compare this car at maxton in 2007 vs. anything at TSM in 2011

SW isn't a type of builder, SW was the owner of a Boost Logic Supra that did 243 in the TSM. And not many Supra's have the 190k invested like SW invested into his, so there are not many Supra's over 230ph. And SW got rid of the Supra and now runs Underground Racing TT Lamborghini's that are hitting 250mph.

@wankelnut Yeah, and the Viper has run 8s on pump gas, and mid 7s in a full weight 3650lb car. The junk Supras running 80psi, a $100,000 race engine that breaks down every 10 passes and 350shot of direct port nitrous pales in comparison to what Vipers with 4 more cylinders have accomplished.

Go back to watching the Fast n Furious kid, you don't know squat.

@rawr927 ART just ran through the traps at 240 mph. Hit 247mph earlier in the same run but had a boost cut problem that blew the tranny and slowed them down. Would have run over 250mph in their street viper.
