The GCA Cougar Cheerleaders competed in the 2008 Christian Cheerleaders of America (CCA) National Cheer Competition. They did an incredible job despite the number of illnesses and injuries they were faced with. The Cougars entered in the Small JV (8 members and under; 10th grade and under) Music and Non-Music Divisions. After two rounds of performances, the girls proved themselves resilient and came away as national champions--in both divisions! This video footage is the Music routine from the first round of competition.
