12 (FAKE) Hollywood Haikus
On the red carpet
Kleig lights hit the luscious curves
of perky implants.
Hot bods lie poolside.
Slick, sexy, bronzed boys in heat.
Got talent? What faux?
Ingenue enters.
Each word delivered for truth
but falls flat, empty.
Movie stars galore
Parade the Chinese Theater!
Each of them a fraud.
Lips made for kissing.
Plump, perfect, pursing pillows.
Possibly plastic.
The epitome!
A woman personified!
But look! She's a man!
Hollywood dreamers.
Each one aching for stardom.
One in a million.
A Life projected.
Full-color on the big screen.
Wake up! It's not real.
"Oh my gawd! It's you!
Let's do lunch or drinks sometime!"
Sincere, but so fake.
Fast cars, fast women.
Phat cats in fabulous cribs.
Full line of credit.
"I have a dream, Yo!"
Major deals to be made here.
So many Play-ahs!
Hollywood feels real.
What you see is what you get.
"Authentic" is fake.
