A review and tour of the Suunto Core outdoor watch.

I recently added another video of this watch which shows a new strap and the logbook function. http://tinyurl.com/9kcbue/.

Also, I posted a more in-depth review of this watch, comparing it to the Casio Pathfinder. You can find that here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLMO-9DCM8k/.

Suunto has an interactive demo of this watch on their site, in which you'll be able to see the screen better: http://www.suunto.com/interactive/Core/.

  • @Roelieee Hard to say. It measures 48mm across the case, if that helps you picture it. All of the ABC watches (altimeter/barometer/compass) I've seen are pretty big, so I can't recommend an alternative. Anyone else have ideas?

  • I have small wrists... really small ones (index + thumb can go arount wrist) Is this watch to big for me? Anyone has any alternatives? Great video!

  • @spergAdam I think it is. See my comment to Meketrash below.

  • @spergAdam It is pretty good. As soon as you stop climbing or descending it switches to barometer. Of course, if you're changing altitude while the weather is changing it won't be able to tell but neither will any watch. It does ask you periodically to set a reference to keep it accurate, which I think is a nice feature.
