  • Who is the blond singer singing "Hot Lips" with Henry Busse's (on trumpet) band, at the end? She's hot! Seems almost wrong to be saying that about someone who would now be in her 90s...

  • I think her name is Judy Randall

  • Was that silent actor Ben Turpin with the mustache toward the end?

  • Yes, it certainly was.

  • Beautiful...just beautiful. The girls, the color, the band, everything.

BTW, it's gotta be '35, not '34. "Love Dropped In For Tea" was a bit of a hit that latter year.

The brilliant deep colors hallmark the 3 color Technicolor process, then brand new.

  • You're totally right! Starlit Days was released September 27 1935. Thanks!

  • @dellotti Let's not forget the RCA Victor High Fidelity Sound, great sound for 1935....

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I didn't expect to see Cliff Edwards in here.

Is that Al Bowlly with the beach ball?

  • They say Technicolor never ages, film, music and comedy might not always age well over the years. Technicolor is the real star here.

    Thanks for sharing this short.

Seeing Jiminy Crickets voice was great too.

Bathing suits of yesteryears is hillarious to watch too.....

  • Ed Wynn at 7:18?

  • Does anyone know if a copy of this picture is available ... ????

Please let me know at rogercarey@charter.net

  • Freaking fabulous! What happened to movies...? Did we forget how to film in color??! That grass is supernatural.

  • poor Ambassador Hotel.....so much history there...now gone

  • No that's Cliff Edwards (Ukelele Ike) who played earlier in the film. See below.

  • The chao is Cliff Edwards a.k.a. "Ukelele Ike" - a superb virtuoso, I reccomended any of his recordings, especially the "saucy" ones.
