Pokémon Battle Revolution - Sep 25 07 C

I love this battle. The guy sends out each of the fully-evolved Kanto starters, and I send out Crawdaunt. Given the right circumstances, it shows you that Crawdaunt is a Pokémon not to be taken lightly. No one's making étouffée out of this mudbug any time soon.

Also, with this new setup for recording videos, I have about a 1.5 second lag between what I do and what I see. That's why I moved to the D-pad control scheme.

I used Crawdaunt, and that's all that matters. My opponent used Blastoise, Venusaur, and Charizard.

The most hilarious thing is that his Blastoise would've killed your Crawdaunt before you'd fully set up if he'd only used Surf from the out set (props for being old school and using Skull Bash, mind). Underestimating the power of STAB is never a good thing... (plus knowing your opponent's defensive stats helps)

@AnnaMay14 I used a video capture device. Think of it like a VCR, except it records onto video files instead of videotapes.

@Soon18 skull bash is one of my favorite moves with blastoise =3

@GigaDrainCradily They can actually be really good. Blastoise is a good defensive rapid spinner, Venusaur can sleep dangerous opponents and stall them with leech seed and synthesis, and Charizard is a good special attacker in general.

Or you could use them because you like them

@Overhazard Yeah, difference being that Surf is a good attack in the competitive enviroment ... Skull Bash is not.

If you look closely, Venasaur's eyes become red right before it goes into its Poke ball.
