thats me! proper windy day, hit the gust, bore away slightly to compensate and watched the mast bend in two! my brother turned to look at me, we both said "sh$t"
then I told him to pull the kite in, as i didnt want it flogging!

@tubecruser The kicker is the pack of ropes and pulleys going from the boom to the mast you pull it on to prevent the boom from jumping around while sailing but if you put too much on it puts strain on the mast and bends it
