[PV] GO!GO!7188 - "Umashika Mono"

GO!GO!7188 (go go nana ichi hachi hachi), also known as GO!GO! 7188 and simply Gogo, is a japanese rock band with a strong surf influence. The band was formed in June of 1998 by Yumi Nakashima (nicknamed Yuu) and Akiko Hamada (nicknamed Akko), both alumnae of the same year at Shoyo High School in Kagoshima, Kyushu. The bands drummer, Turkey (real name Takayuki Hosokawa), a native of Mitoyo, Shikoku, joined in 1999 and they debuted on Breast/milia, a division of Capitol Records (Toshiba-EMI) in 2000. The meaning of the bands name is known only to its members.

Waaau.. I have never thought about "Uma shika mono", is the kunyomi of "baka"mono haha.. that is so great. Thank you. I always thought that they sang "nou nashi ka?" like, are you braidead, but they sing nou nashi ga, (incompetent, but).. haha :)

@yuna0121ful no. earliest i can think of is mushi from 1998. as i understand umashika mono roughly means moron *of course of love in this context. only ruriiro comes close in bad azzness as far as go go vids are concerned IMO
