  • Rusia is not even involved in the war of terrorism with the NATO however, they become attacked sound like a great reason to start destroying the lives of all muslims wether they are inocent or not.

  • While this is another evil day for Islam it's important to remember that it is secularism that has an even more violent history then Islam. From the Nazi holocaust and the progroms of Stalin, to Timothy McVeigh and Jeffery Dahmer, to the secular schizophrinic, Jered Lougner, secularism is a mental disorder. That certainly doesn't excuse the dispaportionate body count of Islam, it's just important to keep perpective. Of course the trolls will either deny the holocaust or their seculart saints.

  • @coil311 I'm not offended by anything. That is simply a poor, failed attempt on your part to divert attention away from yourself.

" If there is no evidence, reject it. "

We would still be living in caves, if everyone historically had that point of view.

You take a stand on issues that are unknown to you, based on faith, and what you find "ridiculous'" or appealing. You have a BELIEF system that isn't based on evidence whatsoever.

  • @coil311 "isn't just about a "Designer" - Deistic gods are a different matter"

A "god" that designed something is different than a "designer" that designed something?

"there is absolutely zero evidence for any of that, I reject it all"

You have a firm belief on the subject of the unknown. You have so much in common with the religious in that regard. That must be where the "projection" originates.

You have your beliefs, they have theirs. Only YOU are one sulking like a child.

  • @coil311 "a cohesive rational evidence-based argument to counter my points"

I only pointed to your motivation in relation to "projection". I don't choose to counter all of you logical fallacies and idiot ramblings. I only cherry-pick a few to teach you one idiot-proof lesson at a time.

  • @coil311 "What evidence..."

That is why they call it a belief. It is a simple concept that even you should understand. Even YOU have beliefs in the unknown, otherwise you would be agnostic.

"Sentences uttered are for THE LIVING"

You are starting to catch on. Many people deal with loss differently. I assume that you have attended funerals. Or did you just dump the body in the gutter, or bury in the backyard? You would be a hypocrit to attend a funeral, just based on your own logic.

  • @antimarxism

Also, humans know enough to realize that this notion of a theistic loving god is BEYOND ridiculous. As far as the "unknown", I do not believe things which lack evidence. It's not really a complicated thinking methodology: If there is no evidence, reject it. If there is evidence, especially lots, adopt it. You are obviously offended that I attacked religion, but it needs to be done. Perhaps you are seeing your belief system shattered by logic and rationality.

  • @antimarxism

Also, this isn't just about a "Designer" - Deistic gods are a different matter. You notice people are actually trying to SPEAK TO THE DEAD. This entails some sort of afterlife where dead humans still listen in on Earth. This is primarily wrapped around the inane notions of a theistic god and his empire over the cosmos, and presumably some magical happyland outside the realm of space-time. Since there is absolutely zero evidence for any of that, I reject it all.

  • @antimarxism

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of the word rationality. Let me define it for you. That which has evidence, especially lots of evidence, is the best belief to adopt. Those beliefs which are backed by no evidence should not be believed unless evidence is provided.

There is no evidence for a deity.

    Therefore....

I do not believe in one.

    Those that do are irrational.

Quite simple. No evidence = not rational

So where's the evidence for a deity?

  • @coil311 Modern science is researching areas such as technological singularities, the "seeding" of earth, virtual worlds, parallel universes, string theories, ....the list goes on and on. A "designer" is not far-fetched whatsoever.

Humans know very little to nothing. Only an agnostic view would be "rational" and fully lack "belief" in the unknown. You are filled with and constantly spew "belief" in the unknown, and are more in line with your perceived enemy....religion than you realize.
