Another one of my favorites - I can't help but love the gloomy atmosphere (yes, I admit it - I have a thing for dark movies), the idea behind the story, the ever changing city...
Unfortunately, it's one of the movies that a lot of people have never even heard of...

IT's about a movie where alien craft this city in space that is made to look like city from the 1940's or earlier. The alien would implant memories in the human and they would do this every so often where a different person would inherent the memories and personality of another person.

Does anyone know the French name of this movie, if there is any? I wonder if I saw it already, but the name in French can be quite different.

It actually depends on which French speaking part of the world you live in. According to IMDb, the movie was called "Dark City" in France as well, but in Canada (which your profile says you're from) it was apparently called "Cité obscure". Ring a bell? :o)
