I've been a sound man for a number of years, so I have a pretty good ear. You need not do imitations, sining your own tune will do just fine. That said, I would encourage you to press in and get yourself an agent. You can do Opera no doubt, it's just a matter of believing in yourself 110% never taking no for an answer. Your gift will prevail and you will move forward in your pursuits.

@MrTickleme69 Immitation is her talent and her art. It seems she does or has done musicals at some point. Musical singers are asked they can channel different voices as they have to bring a character to life. If you're playing a young woman from the south in the 1950s, singing like a contemporary northerner would ruin the whole show. I think she does a phenomenal job.
