By the way, I did not fit it yet because I like to study everything before. :) When I bought my inlet, at that time I didn't know about the space "problem", it's was only after I had it at home. During this weekend I think that I will fit it. I am in the middle of my conversion, so it's the perfect time to place the inlet, 52 TB and the Hurricane induction. ;-)
Lotus regards to You,

Ralf, you have an amazing sound/exhaust/induction sound. Congrats for your work. ;) The video that you show it was a really nice fight between you and the 2 Eleven. :D
About the inlet, some time ago, I got one brand new on eBay, but my one it's that version with no VVC letters and it's not black, it's that one used on MG TF160, that it it all in aluminium color, also 2 parts. Let's see if the shape it's the same of yours. :)
My best regards,
Miguel

Hi Ralf,
I am also converting an Elise S1 and a freind of mine show me your Picasa Album. Please tell me one thing that I saw in your album. Like my one, your Elise have a boot bag (on 98 they changed that). How easy it was to fit the VVC inlet? I know that for the VVC Lotus have other boot cover and a diferent interior boot design, so I thought that it was impossible to fit it. But now I can see that you fit and it seams with no problem. Can you give me a tip? :-) My best regards, Miguel

Hi Miguel,
fitting the VVC Inlet isn't difficult, because the one I got here consists out of two pieces, which could be installed easily. But even in one piece it should work.
Only small problem: the VVC inlet is a bit higher than the plastic inlet and it touches slightly the lid. I filed off the top of the "V" from VVC and this fits okay now.
Together with the slightly modified head th engine now delivers 138hp, which I find okay.
