  • I'd like to see you guys score your 500th nhl goal on an empty net. Actually, I'd like to see you score your first nhl goal on an empty net.

  • I was at the game. I stood up and applauded for him (former Jet! How could I not?) . A lot of people around me looked at me like I was crazy...

  • Tkachuk was a superstar warrior!

  • Wow...talk about being ignorant.

So what? You met a couple "rude" and "not knowledgeable" hockey fans in Columbus. Go to DETROIT! You'll meet a TON of RUDE and NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE hockey fans.

The "fans" you probable met were the ones that have never been to a hockey game before and got free tickets.

You're just stupid, man...Meet more than a few fans THEN leave a comment about how the fans act.

  • Colombus is a terrible hockey city. I've been to Nationwide Arena on many occasions. Jackets fans are very rude and not knowledgeable about the game at all. This video shows that in that they are so classless that they will be boo an opposing player for achieving an incredible milestone in his career. It doesn't matter if he is on the other team or not. Hell, you don't even neccesaarily have to cheer, but to boo? Awful. Colombus fans don't deserve an up and coming team like the Blue Jackets.

  • I never said Columbus was, you just implied that was what I thought! There are a few "awful" franchises in the NHL and Columbus isn't one of them in my personal opinion. They aren't too high on my list, though!

    GO BLUES! Cough.. Cough..

  • How is Columbus one of the worst NHL franchises?

Do you not understand ticket sales?

Columbus is a hockey city. We just haven't been given a team worthy of proving it until this year.

  • Indiana Racers?

Move one of the worst NHL franchises to Indianapolis! Indiana might be too close to Chicago and St. Louis though!

The Indianapolis Ice home games were always filled with people a few years back!

  • 500th as an empty netter. I'd like to see a baseball player get their 500th homerun as an inside the park homerun.

  • You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Columbus is a GREAT hockey city. The youth hockey has risen by an incredible amount over the past 8 years. Why? The Blue Jackets.

With all of this rising hockey comes more hockey interest. Columbus fans are much more knowledgeable than you give them credit for. To say they don't understand the sport? That's just speaking out your ass.

  • no matter what the other teams fans are going to boo at a goal. They were not rooting for the Blues so why would they want to see a goal. They were not because of the empty net. I would be glad, they just so an awesome accomplishment in hockey.
