Piotr Kurek - polish musician, performer and enthusiastic collector. Author of pieces for theatre and contemporary dance performances. Co-founder of Ślepcy, a non active group of late 90's and one man behind ever changing amplified instrumental music of Piętnastka. Since 2006 he has been working in collaboration with London's Unknown Public, portuguese media-label Crónica, Lublin Dance Theatre, Białystok Puppet Theatre, Crossroads Culture Centre, audio-visual collective kilku.com and musician, among others, Arturas Bumšteinas, Peter Votava, Jean-Jacques Palix, Jerzy Kornowicz and Stephan Mathieu.

Piotr Kurek has participated in numerous music and theatre festivals: Transmediale (Berlin), Elevate (Gratz), UH Fest (Budapest), Baltic Festival (Brugge), Traverses (Nancy), Malta International Theatre Festival (Poznań), Gdansk Dance Festival (Gdańsk), Underground Theatre Festival (Aarad), Cornelius Cardew and the Art of Listening (Porto), International Festival of Modern Dance (Kovno), etc. He is a co-author of "Urban Afterimage" a finalist work on Malta International Theatre Festival in 2009 and author of music for "NN. Tribute to Vaclav Nijinsky", a piece by Lublin Dance Theater nominated for the best contemporary dance performance in 2008 in Poland.
