Just as the title says, we all went to see disturbed, the opening bands were Sevendust and Skindred, which both kicked ass and I would highly recommend seeing them live. Same goes for Disturbed. Disturbed is one of my most favorite bands and they are great live. We also went to McDonalds to eat breakfast then we started our walk from the Battlefield Mall all the way to the shrine Mosque. Which should have taken about an hour to do, but because we ended up going the wrong way, it took us about 3 hours and we ended up walking about 12 miles.
We got there and were still the first people in line, even though the concert didn't open until 7PM, we got there at about 11:00AM. About an hour later a few other people showed up. We all go to talking and played hacky sack for a while then got hungry. We all decided to pitch in a few bucks to buy 4 pizzas and a 2 liter of Dr. Pepper.
When it came time for the doors to open, some guy had a seizure and they had to call 911 and wouldn't let anyone else inside for about 15 minutes after, which really sucked. I feel bad for the guy, but it sucks that we all had to go and stay out tehre longer than what we planned. Everyone started getting pissed and chanting "let us in! Let us in!" and "you are late! you are late!". eventually we got in and were able to finally get our spots. Cody, David, Nathan, Justice, and Tyler all went straight for the front and held onto the railing just in front of the stage.
When the concert started, it started with Skindred first. And I have never seen a band put on a show as good as what they did, they are officially one of my favorite bands now, along with Disturbed. Then after Skindred, it went to Sevendust, then to Disturbed. But because all those guys were up on the front rail, they all got smashed and ended up with huge red marks and bruises on their abdominal areas.
But overall, I loved the show, we all did, and the day was great. Even though it was the LONGEST day I have ever had and I was really exhausted afterward (and still am a day after), it was awesome.
I went to that show too. it's awesome that you guys were first in line. and I was wondering what took so long get the line moving. I was at the end of the line so I had no clue. hope the guys ok. I wonder if they gave him his money back for the show?

actually i think the guy still went in. I don't think he was actually taken to the hospital because I never saw him come back out of the building.
but yah, it was a bitch to get there and be first in line, i had to stand there for about 8 hours. but it was definately worth it.
