this reminds me so much a boy I had a crush on in years 6/7 (lol, too young to really know)- I was completely obsessed with him. I made the mistake of telling a friend (never trust 12 year olds with secrets) and the whole class knew, then my friend asked him out for me and he said no, and suddenly I thought "wtf am I doing?
