@bordercollies10 The one on the 18th is an SRPS railtour, which according to the Railway Magazine will be class 47s. I won't see it, however, as I will be at work that day.
Also, did you see "Leander" yesterday? That went over the Mossblown branch as well! (See my channel for the video)

@SteamboatWilley i agree with you on that one, it is unusual, as mauchline/mossblown/newton on ayr is used to go via annbank junction for killoch usually for the freightliner coal trains. it was a bit early, i almost missed it myself hehe :) there is another railtour i think running on the 18th of september which is alos saturday, it will be deisel hauled though i am unsure of the loco :)

Unusually, this train came via Mauchline/Mossblown/Newton-on-
Ayr. Its not often you see a passenger train on that line. Sadly I didn't quite catch it on video as it was early and I didn't have my camera ready. -
