  • The Arabic language was around way before Islam. Thinking that by learning Arabic you become a Muslim is like thinking that if you learn Italian you become Christian. Arabic is simply a language that Islam is most often used in.

  • In typography, letters that are interconnected (like they are one) are called ligatures.
