(Vid 42) London Overground, Underground (wombling free)

The title of this vid is the song title of a english childrens tv programme in the 1970's / 80's. with a minor tweak.

On my way to Wembley Depot to pick up a 'Pendolino' I had the misfortune to ride in one of the new class 378 units now working the Euston - Watford DC services having all but taken over from class 313's at the weekend just gone.

I say misfortune, because although they are comfortable, the seats are all positioned longitudally, and the corridor connection between the coaches are similar to the German class 422-426 family and also I think the Dutch class 2400/2600 Sprinters, its the wretched automatic PA announcements. at full volume at 05hxx in the morning

1) welcome aboard this train is for XYZ next stop is ABC.
2) we are now approaching ABC.
3) this is ABC, mind the gap between train and platform.

@101Baureihe Thank you. the 2nd train (red front) is a London Underground (U-Bahn) train dating from 1972 and is on the 'Bakerloo line (brown on the map), and was one of the first to have a combined power/brake handle for train control.
