Ah, memories....this was my first ever game. Sure, I wanted a Nintendo, but a Master System was all my mother could afford. I loved my Master System...it turned me into a huge Sega fanboy...I was so bad I stopped gaming for two years after the Dreamcast stopped being supported.

That last bout you looked like you could use some more training. lol. Where you using a Master System controller, or Mega Drive controller? The SMS controller is kinda mushy for this sort of game.

you need to have it at 6hits per second to make Lang your bitch..it's pretty ez..just take a AA battery and go between both bottons untill the training is over..

I remember the AVGN reviewing this game and he said the controls were horrible and the training was boring. I never played it but judging by the "review" he gave it seemed bad. Pretty much a button masher at best!

I was curious to see whether the Japanese Mark III version is any different from the North American game, but they both appear to be identical.
Some Japanese games are easier than their North American counterparts, or vice versa, as you are probably already aware of.
