Big Bang Theory - A clip from our friends at http://www.IllustraMedia.com - The Privileged Planet.

The Big Bang Theory is an effort to explain what happened at the very beginning of our universe. Discoveries in astronomy and physics have shown beyond a reasonable doubt that our universe did in fact have a beginning. Prior to that moment there was nothing; during and after that moment there was something: our universe. The big bang theory is an effort to explain what happened during and after that moment.

According to the standard theory, our universe sprang into existence as "singularity" around 13.7 billion years ago. What is a "singularity" and where does it come from? Well, to be honest, we don't know for sure. Singularities are zones which defy our current understanding of physics. They are thought to exist at the core of "black holes." Black holes are areas of intense gravitational pressure. The pressure is thought to be so intense that finite matter is actually squished into infinite density (a mathematical concept which truly boggles the mind). These zones of infinite density are called "singularities." Our universe is thought to have begun as an infinitesimally small, infinitely hot, infinitely dense, something - a singularity. Where did it come from? We don't know. Why did it appear? We don't know.

After its initial appearance, it apparently inflated (the "Big Bang"), expanded and cooled, going from very, very small and very, very hot, to the size and temperature of our current universe. It continues to expand and cool to this day and we are inside of it: incredible creatures living on a unique planet, circling a beautiful star clustered together with several hundred billion other stars in a galaxy soaring through the cosmos, all of which is inside of an expanding universe that began as an infinitesimal singularity which appeared out of nowhere for reasons unknown. This is the Big Bang Theory.

  • @MasterYoXYang if god is in any part of the universe god is the universe himself.

  • Fine tuned compared to what??

All the events leading to my birth are so vastly improbable - if any tiny parameter was slightly different, I would not be here. Am I supposed to believe that all my ancestors were carefully 'finely tuning' things so that I would be born?? The whole of history is all about me??

What kind of person would seriously think this?

  • Wait I thought this was a tv show?

  • @ParadoxEternal i dont understand how when all this mass where so near, dont make in first place the more huge massive black hole ,than the universe,..,in expansion..

  • @CoDfan2011mw2 science and religion are only incontradcition when you try to mix this different sistems of ideas. if you feel happy to believe you find ·"scientific evidence" in order to sustain your lack of faith .. good fpr you. but is better dont try to mix.and the relation between the universe and the notion of god mentioned before indeed dont refer specifically to the judeo christian notio of god , necesarily.

  • @CoDfan2011mw2 indeed your error is to try to make a "scientific " aproaching to god , believing only needs faith, only needs the religion dogmas.is more easy than the science who try make knowledge , logical, consistent.ordered, reasonable knowledge. the big bang was the creation? may be."you acept the bog bang as a fact.. but for science is a theory a god theory..at the prersent moment,

  • @MIGUEL2005LIMA

I believe that the Big Bang was the Creation. I believe that science and Christianity/Judaism/(Islam?), dont contradict each other. Except for those few unproven theories such as; The Big Bang was a natural event, or Humans evolved from primates. But for the most part they dont contradict. Because science is simply understanding what God (for whatever unknown reason) didnt tell us.

So I believe that we have a pretty good amount of scientific evidence of the Creation.

  • @NannerTheBananner its supposed to be The Big bang

  • you know what i think. There was a earth before our earth. The big band is what caused god to make a new one.Hey im just predicting

  • @ParadoxEternal

So what tinfoil hut did you spring out of, dude?

  • @kobi1321 yes
