  • gm is all ways better then ford

  • After 1988 GM trucks went downhill. Ford had much better front suspension and their diesel engine was A LOT better than GM

I love the 73-87 chevies tho. 88-98s are ok, but I prefer a ford.

  • I would think that if the glow plugs were fresh, that first one would have fired up even with the snow cranking.

  • The glow plugs and controller were replaced this spring. It needs the cranking speed, probly because the engine has 205K and has never been touched.

  • somtimes those fords dont like the cold. But a chevy will start up any day.

  • It's not a ford or chevy issue. It's the condition of the batteries, glow plugs, and starter.
