Video describing my home veggie oil filtration set up. Specifically pouring the filtered, dewatered oil into your jugs.

I filter used cooking oil from a local restaurant and burn it as fuel in my 2001 diesel Volkswagen Jetta TDI. And I'm about to explain and show everything I did to accomplish this.

  • I couldnt get that blog address to work.

I can run my car on single tank veg oil, I have a bosch pump that is able to pump the stuff, can u just filter used oil, add some white spirit or methanol and use?

what does ur process remove/ do essentially?

  • Not so. You are not the first ask me this question. Check out the analysis I did on my blog. tinyurl com yzaa3vb

  • the energy u use to heat the veg oil will negate any savings surely unless u use waste veg oil burners to heat it or a generator running on veg oil powering an electric heater?

  • Salt will disolve completly in oil or water. So there will be nothing for the noozles to catch. My filtering process in this video was to 10micron, I'm now at 1micron. My nozzels were 105micron. So i'm good. :)

  • I'll have to decline. Thanks for the offer however.

  • I'm interested in this issue very much. Question - if there is salt in waste oil from deep frying, can that salt damage engine parts (diesel noozles), if you are not removing it during oil processing?

BTW, I like your videos, and the way you do this : )

  • Would you like a job on my farm?

  • Organization? Since I'm the only one using it and it doesn't take much space, I feel it's organized enough. :) To each their own.

  • I mean your organization of de unit
