Although the landing gear did not open completely(front) it didn't land on it's belly. The LG were halfway out.

Alec I was listening to the Puccini Messa di Gloria we sang together in '76 in the Natal Youth choir and then I saw your report - replayed the Gloria in thanksgiving and belted out the tenor part - joyous that you live to tell the tale. So grateful all made it without injury!
