@guitarpro23 Before and After are static moments in time and therefore unable to show movement. If you were interested in viewing movement, you'd need to see the procedure performed under videofluoroscopy. Think of it like cracking your knuckles...you don't question whether there was movement b/c you don't see it. Look down at your hand when you crack a knuckle. It's clearly moving.

i can do that without the machine...been working for years

@Septimius: I think you misunderstood. The human body can usually self-adjust itself providing sufficient physical activity like running etc. So HVLI chiropractic moves are not necessary. That's why the CT-L will also help self-adjusting the lower back. The point is that most people today sit all day, are overweight and have shortened muscles/tendons/soft tissue making it more difficult for the body to regulate functional disorders by itself. So the CT-L can be helpful, chiropractors of course too.

@CHIROTRACTOR Saying mankind has always needed chiropractors is like saying we've always had this inactive lifestyle. Not using our bodies enough and when we use them using them wrong is the number one reason why the world needs chiropractors. I agree that there is a point in stretching, but it being a 'chirotractor'.....

@nicksypixy : Even though development und production costs would justify an even higher price, we have lowered it to 4800 € in Europe or 4800 US$ world wide (plus shipping). It is a device to be used in a professional health related environment and not for home use. An initial instruction by a trainer or therapist is mandatory in order to ensure effectiveness and prevent harm to the user due to incorrect execution of the procedure.
Neat machine. Too bad it does not do necks as well.......

@genedandy : Thanks. Neck self-mobilisation or even self-adjustment is too dangerous. I do not recommend it, any manufacturer of such a device should prepare for a ton of liability and legal problems. Lower back is safe though.

Please explain to all of these people why exactly you call it an "adjustment". There is no such thing. If our vertebrae "adjusted" we would all be in trouble. If you think otherwise, please show me evidence of a vertebrae before and after treatment actually moving. Its a mechanical response from the JOINT people. Please dont be lead to thinking that your back adjusts... The term needs to be removed from chiropractic vernacular.

@guitarpro23 : The issue is controversial I admit. While I have also learnt that no physical 'spinal misalginment' exists, I personally have strong evidence that this is the case. Patients are referred to me with scintigraphy and MRI images showing singular facet joint inflammation and edema which correlated to my clinical findings. Maybe our imaging means lack sufficient resolution to prove it yet (=unspecific back pain) but I don't believe that there is no physical evidence behind it all.

@guitarpro23 : In chiropractic and osteopathic medicine our own sensory and tactile diagnostic abilities are more important than fancy and expensive medical imaging methods. Ask an osteopath why she thinks she is right and you will get the strangest answers, same with TCM and acupuncture. But these systems all work even though 'science' and 'school medicine' have yet to make it 'evidence based'. Also, it is not important what you call things as long as they work properly. Whoever heals is right.
