Parisa Rabii,a young Iranian Santur Soloist was selected to play Santour instrument with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra in the North American premier of the Contsertino for Santour and Orchestra by Maestro Dehlavi and Faramarz Payvar on Sunday, June 6, 3 p.m., Arlene Schnitzer Hall, 1037 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97205. Parisa's music teacher is Maestro Hossein Salehi who has been playing Santur for the last 40+ years. .
