you realize that shotguns can actually shoot pretty damn far in real life... its just that the games ppl are so used to playing make them have like 10 ft range witch is dumb. i do agree though that they are overpowered and shouldnt be allowed as a secondary weapon. also the akimbo feature is complete BULLSHIT

@dogwolf666 If you listen about a half a second after he shoots, you hear an empty shell bounce on the ground. You cant see it because it is ejected on the other side of the attachment, or it should be, idk if they actually put the spent shells in the game or not. the spent shells are always supposed to be ejected on the opposite side that you pump on/support the firearm with. For example if you pump with your left it ejects from the right so the hot shells don't burn you.

When you switch to the shotgun your character pumps it, but in real life this would actually make one of the shells pop out of the barrel.

its cool that it shoot far but it wont give you the kill in far distance unless your in hardcore ^^

True,they're just fucking abusing it,shotguns should be in primary weapons just like in COD4,using shotguns in mw2 is like using overkill but you can still put stopping power on it.

Fuck the shotguns,only masterkeys are good since it's not so popular and balanced.

But campers with shotguns...just fuck it.

@leoanddan11 nah the shotguns have shit range because they are meant to be powerful weapons with very high stopping power in all games. They give them a crap range because if they didn't people will be getting one hit kills across the map with an auto shotgun and they will turn into primary weapons for most people.

its actually good they made the shotgun attachment because if ppl are usin like for example......Scar H and their usin one man army....the shotgun attachments makes it look like u still have a secondary weapon....

@EricTheReaper Yeah, and the crazy thing is, that if you look at the stat meters for the guns, the SPAS claims to have the worst range, but we all know that's not true.
