First off, these are not my clips, thanks to those who provided them to me.

A group of highlights of Tim Brown throughout his time in the NFL. Nobody ever did what Tim Brown did in the game, and im not sure anyone ever will. You were either great at being a wide reciever, or great at being a punt returner, Desmond Howard, Dante Hall, Joshua Cribbs, Deven Hestner, Jermaine Lewis....The list goes on. How he put these kind of numbers while being a full time punt returner for 9+ seasons is unreal. To give you an idea, the greatest punt returner to date is Brian Mitchell, His career punt return average was 10.4, Tim Browns average was 10.2. Even rival fans have to tip there hats to this man.

watching this video brings back good memories, i hope Tim Brown makes it to the HOF soon. imo hes right up there with Cris Carter, and Jerry Rice in terms of his stats

his stats would be at the top. but thats the thing, jerry rice played his entire career with two HOF QB's while Brown played with alot of shitty QB's the only solid one was Rich Gannnon.

@raiderfan89ify Not only did he have HOF qbs, look at the enitre team in general, the RB's Roger Craig, Ricky Waters..WR-John Taylor, Terrell Ownes..TE-Brent Jones...Only one time in Tim Browns career before Gannon showed up did he have another skilled position player join him in the pro-bowl, He was the only player teams had to worry about stopping for the most part.

@SportsNutt123 Yeah, he had "greats" like Schroeder, Marinovich, Evans, George, Hollis, Hoying.....Hostetler was pretty good as was Gannon. Most of his career he had garbage QB's throwing to him. Especially Schroeder. Had we had a half way good QB on those old teams god knows how many championships we would have.

You all may think I'm crazy but, Darrius Heyward-Bey could be the next Tim Brown for the Raiders, if they'd start throwing the ball to him. He easily has the speed, height and leaping ability to be successful. In preseason this year and a few times in regular season, he showed he can catch the ball. Against the Seahawks, we went up over a Seahawks' cornerback and caught the ball at its highest point. He's lucky if he gets thrown at 3 times a game though. Untapped greatness not given a chance...
