http://www.euronews.net/ Syria has rejected an Arab League call for President Bashar al-Assad to step down.

A government official described the plan as "flagrant interference" in the country's internal affairs.

After meeting at its Cairo headquarters, the league said Assad should give way in favour of a unity government with the opposition.

But tensions within the league itself threaten to undermine its mission. Saudi Arabia has withdrawn its own monitors after accusing Syria of failing to cooperate and breaking promises on peace initiatives.

  • @ammar500 Russia and China support Assad and his thugs. They keep blocking attempts from the EU to help the people of Syria! Russia and China are just as bad as Assad,

  • @shanepaulcoward

no wonder you are a child afterall. no sense of understanding; thinking like a donkey and not understanding this whole issue. and oh if you like the Iranian Mullahs and

ASS-sad bullcrap then please go to war-torn syria and live there.

  • @shanepaulcoward You are pathetic!! In addition to your short sightedness and bias to bloody dictatorship, you are rude!!

  • The regime is sclerotic and rotten to the core. The system is broken beyond repair and the regime's response was very predictable

  • @shanepaulcoward

then i believe you read 2 much anti-western conspiracies lol. it seems ammar is right you need to wake up. Assad is killing his people for christ sake. Jesus fucking christ think with your bains not with your ass

  • it's an idiocy to keep the monitors in syria. Assad was never committed to ending violence, he's only committed to crushing all who protests his presidency. keeping the monitors is a waste of time and innocent lives. monitors need to go home, nato & al must send an army to end Assad's bloodthirsty regime.

  • @TheEviIOyo Why not? One thousands mile road starts with one step!

  • @shanepaulcoward I'm awake, I see most of the world against Syria for valid reasons. Assad is killing Syrian people in order to protect familial dictatorship!! He'll fall very soon, you better wake up before it's too late. Join the people revolution or be marginalized.

  • @ammar500 they won't get anything close to democracy.

  • @Blindanddumb So you have a state where all religions are protected under the constitution and women can own land, run for office, drive, own businesses etc. That has never attacked another state (minus iraq) vs. a repressed police state that funds terrorism all over the world, the same terrorism that caused the worst attacks in US and british history? the latter isn't iran
