New-TNA iMPACT! - Episode 6

New-TNA starts off the new year with the sixth installment of iMPACT!

iMPACT General Manager Teddy Long capitalized on the ongoing New-TNA/NESE Talent Exchange by bringing in a fourth man in what had already been a show-stealing World Title match set for Destination X between Oshujax's protege Ryan ReX, the current NESE American Champion Christopher Daniels, and the reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles. Joining these three men in the ring was none other than the only two-time NESE World Heavyweight Champion, LANCE STORM! These four men will see action tonight in TWO big main events.

The first will see NESE action inside a New-TNA ring, as the Fallen Angel looks to gain a huge victory over the Ideal Canadian. There's no doubt that a victory for Christopher Daniels over the likes of Lance Storm will surely boost his stock in the eyes of CEO Masahiro Chono and Commissioner Joey Ryan, but Lance Storm is equally determined to prove that he's fully capable of taking the other company's World Championship and carrying it back home to NESE. And in our other main event, we will see Ryan ReX tangle once more with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles in a non-title bout. On the second episode of iMPACT!, Ryan ReX managed to score a pinfall victory over AJ Styles in his debut match, albeit with help from his mentor Oshujax softening up Styles beforehand. Now with the odds evened and with AJ at a hundred percent, will there be a different result in the rematch? Or will history repeat itself with a victory for Ryan ReX?

Since his debut at Against All Odds, Wade Barrett has proven himself to be a dominant force for the British Invasion. He effortlessly defeated Jeff Hardy after a shocking one-count kickout of Hardy's finishing maneuver and then proceeded to add insult-to-injury with a vicious assault post-match. However, he was halted by the debuting Rob Van Dam, who rushed to Hardy's aid and laid Barrett out cold. Wade Barrett has requested a match with Rob Van Dam for tonight's show and Teddy Long couldn't agree any more. We know Rob Van Dam will fearlessly take this challenge head on, but can the Whole F'N Show stop Wade Barrett dead in his tracks? Or will the Barrett Barrage continue running rampant through New-TNA?

The X-Division continues to stand out as Jason Matthews once again throws his name into the discussion over the X-Division Championship, costing Trey Owens a match against Mr. Anderson and inevitably giving the Green Bay Asshole a bid to be in the X-Division Championship match at Destination X. What had once set out to be a match between best friends with Trey Owens defending against Jimmy Spade has now spiraled into ANOTHER Four Corners Elimination Match for the X-Division Championship at Destination X between Owens, Spade, Anderson, and Matthews! These four men will see action tonight in a Tornado Tag Team match as Anderson & Matthews will team on to take on Spade & Owens; a team known as "The Rebirth" during their days on the Texan independent circuit. Knowing the tensions between these four men, which team will prevail in this battle amongst bitter rivals?

The second installment of Matt Morgan's Blueprint Invitational will take place here tonight! We remember from the last iMPACT when Matt Morgan pitched the idea of facing three men in three separate matches in one night. However, those three men were clearly no challenge for the Blueprint. This gained criticism from the man whom Morgan has tried to outdo on more than occasion, Scott Steiner. Big Poppa Pump responded with his own Freakzilla Invitational on Xplosion, where he challenged and defeated the World's Largest Athlete, The Big Show, in a closely contested and hard-fought contest. However, Matt Morgan has not shown any care toward the Freakzilla Invitational and continues with the Blueprint Invitational, facing three new challengers here tonight. Will they be any tougher than the last group of N Darkness, Leroy Rogers, and JTG?

Evan O'Shea's return was almost picture perfect last week as he defeated Jay Lethal in an exciting contest. However, his moment came to ruins with the shocking return of his arch-rival, Arcan. His vicious assault on Evan O'Shea has had many in the New-TNAtion dubbing him as the "Aussie Nightmare." Tonight, Arcan will be in action against Jay Lethal; the same man O'Shea faced last iMPACT. Evan O'Shea has made it clear that he will be at ringside to observe the match, as they're both set to collide at Destination X. Arcan certainly aims to give O'Shea a preview of what's in store for him, but Jay Lethal looks to get out of his slump with a big victory. Can Lethal pull the surprising upset? Or will Arcan continue to prove why he is the "Aussie Nightmare?"

This is an awesome show. Great actions. Original storylines and I watched the WHOLE thing unlike WWE or TNA. But, the commentary needs to be more lively, maybe have a color and a play-by-play to add to this AWESOME i-show.
