Oh man, Birdland is my SONG! My dad always played that song when I was younger...Probably when I was about 5 or 6 years old.

I like it. Hard to believe this came from a japanese company. It sounds so occidentally, which is unusal for the japanese. I mean if you listen to paon's donkey kong games, like many japanese games, they sound just flashy, upbeat, excessive, aggressive or whatever i should call it. I wonder what -good feel- is working on at the moment.

Yeah I also recognised some from Mario Kart Wii as well. Haha. Still, gotta love Wario and the things he says, even if they are recycled. =P

Gosh, in my opinion, this is the most beautiful Wario Song every written (well, that and the sky bonus area in Wario World). It's so peaceful, and the moonlight in the level just adds to the charm. I love this song.

Definetly. Wario deserves a medal for being such a unique, and Awesome character. Who else can be bad, fart alot and say mean things, yet still be so popular and awesome at the same time. I know Mario can't. HaHa. (though Luigi may have a shot...)

Heavily influenced by the 70's jazz fusion scene. Listen to Birdland with Weather Report and compare the main melody line with what comes 2:04 in this excellent tune.
