i am just wondering whats out there cb radio related and i remember this , i am aware of a episode of are you being served but have not seen that yet, this episode is called " eyeball eyeball, if anybody knows of anthing else please let me know ,, this is done from cb radio point of view not terry and june?

it started innocently, then terry got a Ham Jumbo, a turner +3, an astroplane and a bremi 131 and earned himself the handle of 'the splattermaster', causing TVI for a 25 mile radius.. He ended up being hospitalised for the removal of a coffin mic from his asspipe, but later got his ticket and now has DXCC on 5 bands..

Oh and in the interest of balance - I think a lot of modern Beeb comedy (e.g. Little Britain) has been dire as well. Every era has its comedy classics and its utter garbage.

@MRwonderman1 I don't think this is a case of "oldies" vs. "new" comedy. It ran from 1979-1987, there was plenty of hilarious stuff before that, such as Fawlty Towers, Monty Python or The Young Ones. I mean, to each their own and all that, but I find this incredibly bland.

Thanks for posting this. I love this show. June was right when she said Terry never stuck to a hobby. In previous series, painting and snooker did'nt last long. No doubt the CB radio will go.

This episode was first broadcast on 9th November 1982. The "Are You Being Served?" episode which included Grace Brothers advertising on CB radio was first broadcast about six months later on 13th May 1983.

Thanks for posting,my first CB was a Saphire X2000 (same as the Elftone) at the end!! that was in 1981 and I still own it (Boxed!!).I remember watching this when I was 14.........I guess your an Amateur now.........so am I.......All the best DAVE (M0OGY) North Lincolnshire .
