I always laugh at this nonsense (usually coming from Russian "fans") depicting Cdn. players as cheapshot artists. The russians are renowned for spearing, spitting and kicking their opponents - when they're not pulling somebody's hair. Their actions are truly disgraceful - but Canada is an easy target so, rather than acknowledge their own sins, they blame Cdns.
typical - and that was a clean hit, too (elbows and stick were down and his feet were on the ice at the moment of contact)
