@01fastrace Our systems work on the premise that you are innocent until proven guilty. So long as you maintain your innocence, then it is up to the other party to prove your guilt. In any remotely serious accident it is best to call the police so they can come out and write up the incident. It helps to prevent people from making up lies and fabricating witnesses/stories after the accident.

Is what is so sad about this is that the car that hit the truck can just lie and say that the truck came into her lane. It would be his word against hers. This actually happened to me once. The guy lied and said that I came into his lane. I didn't have a dash cam and no witnesses stopped. It was really sad because he had 2-small kids in his car. We were going 75-on the interstate. I went off into the grass and almost killed myself when I saw the kids in the back. All 4-tires came off my rims.
