  • i can't believe these guys in the audience are actually talking whilst u have a singer giving u that kinda performance..

those in the audience suck big time..

Love the vocals.. and the guitarist does a pretty decent job too

  • As I explained in clip description, this function was held in Istanbul. Late Ahmed Faraz also participated along with few other Urdu poets from all over the world. Actually most of the audience were Turks but noice was coming from urdu speaking people because it was the time when function was almost finished and everyone was trying to get autograph from Ahmed Faraz and other famous poets. For a small Pakistani community in ıstanbul it was even a great fun.

  • wow...very nice and melodious voice. You have tremendous potential - you have a soft and unique voice and there is a calm in your voice which is rare to find. I also like the way you express the words clearly and convey the true feelings behind the song. You do need to practice more to achieve finesse in your singing which would make you a really outstanding singer.

  • You are welcome. The pleasure is mine.

I am neither a Poet or a singer, BUT have been an avid listener of music and enjoy good lyrics.

  • @qiron Thanks for the kind wishes and encouragement. Are you a singer or poet?

  • @earthling3m I am very sorry to learn about Ahmed Faraz Sahab's passing away. May his Soul Rest in Peace. However, I look foward to your next album and wish you great success.

Thanks for the response. Warm Regards, qiron

  • @qiron Thanks a lot Kiranji for your kind comments. This was a casual impromptu tribute to Ahmed Faraz Sahab at the end of an international poetry mushaira at Istanbul. I was honoured that Faraz Sahab appreciated and encouraged me afterwards while I asked for his autograph. I asked to include his ghazals in my next album and he was favourable to the idea. Sad that he passed away later. I hope to include a tribute to him in my next album.

  • Wah Kya Baat Hai Aamerji. Very good rendition indeed. Keep it up. "Kuch to mere pindaare muhobbat ka bharam rakh... tu bhi to kabhi mujhko manane ke liye aa" Bahut Khub...Thanks for the upload. Enjoyed it a lot.

  • o'rite that explains a bit..

yet, i would have listened to that guy even if he was singing in Azerbaijani or whatever language for that matter..

Those guys in the audience would probably listen to those 'Un dos tres' type of songs, although they would understand only the first three words of the whole song... So, my point is: It doesn't take much to appreciate a class-act like that..

    Thx

  • you are absolutely right ahmedfazi, I mean the audeince is not respecting the singer.

That's why I always say "we are not appreciative people" (pakistani).

  • beautiful voice. yeah I have seen him on t.v(Aamer Agha)...so he was one of those people who worked in "Khulja Sim Sim"...wow nice
