  • what are the socket sized used for this if anyone knows that would be great

  • @macgregwire23 You would need a 15MM,22MM and 35MM socket. Right at the beginning of the video there's a list of tools that you would need. Hope this helps you out.

  • i know it says 00-07 but would it be close to a 90 GMC sierra 1500

  • @Killer4112 Some of the basic procedures may be similar to the video. We carry the Haynes manuals on our website 1aauto.com that should show you how to do this also. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day.

  • how do you know when there bad

  • @TheTexasdeerhunter Usually they'll make either a thumping or a humming noise.

  • @1aauto yes thank you so much and the video is great

  • Great Demo. Help me get my job done. The only difference on my 2002 Chevy Suburban 2500, there wasn't really a traditional nut on the top of the stabilizer link, it was more like a flat washer with a threaded sleeve. Just used vice-grips to hold it on the edges while I unscrewed the bolt. Thanks for the video, keep 'em coming.

  • @joey72988 The process may not be exactly the same, but should be similar.

  • Respond to this video... Currently we do not have a repair video that shows you how to remove the axle shafts on a 2000 Jimmy. Usually on a job such as that, you would need to remove the wheels, brakes and calipers, take the cotter pin out of the retaining nut that holds the Axel into position. Once the nut is removed, you should be able to tap the axel at the end once with a hammer to break it free. The you should be able to remove it from the transmission.
