I love it! what a gorgeous site to fly! :-)

Thks buddy... I hope I can go there sometime..
15 min to get there, and 30 sec to get to the ridge is great... here where I am takes me 2 hours at least for going to the practice field or launching mountains...And if you land takes at least 30 minutes for going back again for taking off... Im in Coumbia right Now..
by the way what is NB??
See ya Murra Hay¡¡¡ Hugs, LOGAN¡¡

It's a great location for days when the sky overdevelops or the winds are 'top end' (20+ kts). Also being only about 15 mins drive it's ideal when you only have an hour or so off work with only a 30sec 'climb' to ridge/cliff top!
NB. Regarding practice (training) due to council restrictions no solo training takes place in the park as only named pilots are permited to fly here.
The cliff has a number of launch points but all are VERY technical + LIMITED landing options!

Nice flying Murray lad, looked like a fair bit of speed you were travelling along at on approach to land.Keep em coming mate.

Hi JB
Pure tail wind on 'down wind', so the ground speed would be about 30-35mph... a smooth but hard carve around into wind and on to 'finals' and the G load just gives a couple of knots ground speed left to 'stroll' off :-)
As the cliff provides a lot of shelter once you (the WING) are below the cliff top there is just a light breeze, grab another cup of tea (Lovat 'dot' biz) and back for the next 'photo/vid-flight'.

Yep, I was mainly doing short flights (5-10 mins) as I was needing some new footage of the cliffs and down to 'park' (Pun!)
There have been some SIGNIFICANT... rock slides on a couple of sections of the coastal path so I was shooting both in video and stills.
With the 'normal' launch having a LOT of disturbance to the flow due to thermals the filming had to wait till the farmer had cropped a wide strip around the field, so just leaving a flight over the fence & path > cliff edge ;-)
