@LuciusCorneliusMacro Lol I will! Ive been considering doing both the US army and French Foreign Legion, Its seem both have unique experiences to offer. These same naysayers who diss the US army dont exactly have anything nice to say about the French Foreign Legion either.... kinda makes you wonder if they'll even serve in the Marine Corps at all... I mean how can you be a good warrior if you hate your own allies?

MJK is Special Forces/Special Operations, the Legionnaires are not.

@LuciusCorneliusMacro Thank god someone finally understands. All these people at my school think the average marine is some kind of super commando. Nothing is farther from the truth. When I tell them i wanna be in the Army they either insult me or tell me how the marine corps is better. Face/palm.

Well, the U.S Marine is a regular infantry soldier/marine/wtf you want to call it. The only people that think that all U.S Marines are hardcore are propaganda filled civilians and propaganda filled regular U.S Marines.

If you'd compare a Legionnaire to a U.S Recon Marine, a U.S Army Ranger or other elite units from around the world (British Commandos/Para's, Swedish Jägare etc) the regular Legionnaire would not look so special anymore :)
