12" Single - 1979
Gregg Diamond after "Bionic Boogie" Not really a song, just a couple of hooks strung together - but oh, what hooks!

  • Superb sound quality!!! Did you use any software, or is this direct from vinyl?

  • Thanks much! No, no special software, just direct from vinyl onto Roxio Sound Editor. I'm from the disco era, so I'm somewhat retarded when it comes to software...

  • I am pleased that it is direct from vinyl. I'm not up to speed with computers when it comes to music - I'm from the disco era too. :) And really, who needs "compressed music files", "MP3s" and tinny, digital music. Nothing beats the pure sound of authentic analog music.

Clavinets, Fender bass, Rhodes keyboards, string and horn arrangements with REAL people, hi-hats galore, congas, rhythm guitars...........what a time it was!

  • top production which is so lacking in alot of today's commercial market! 30 years old and still rocks!!

  • WHAT A WONDERFUL CLASSICK... SMOKINNN THROW BACK.. JUST ADORE THE VOCALS @ THE 1:25 MINUTE MARK...KEEP EM COMIN! DISCO NEVER DIED IT WENT UNDERGROUND HAD A BABY & NAMED IT HOUSE!

  • Quality upload. mint mate.

  • Diamond: Always quality productions. Rich and entrancing sound and rhythm. I miss that a lot today when I desperately witness a musically uncultured generation raving about the ''fast food'' productions of artists like ''Lady GaGa'', among others... :(

  • I used to spin this one at the Metropolitan Club across the street from The Copa. It was a private club. I got all the "Debutantes" going with this one!!!!!

  • Hey I bought that cd. This, "Love Bite" by the Richard Hewson Orchestra, "Love Me Tonight" by Fern Kinney and Plaza are my favs.

  • Thank you very much!! :)

  • It is on CD. Horse Meat Disco

  • Whoop whoop indeed! This sure has got me groovin..funky stuff. This ever released on cd?

  • I agree with DiscoMania's comment. Vinyl music sounds much better. Much more dynamic. You can hear the highs and lows , bass, all the instruments in the range and intensity that the producers intended you to hear it in the discotheques and on the radio. Sounds so much better !
