I think my fellow asians should be proud when westerns are cosplaying our anime characters, because it only means that western people acknowledges our culture in a way (Cosplay/Watching Anime). The asian person who said that westerns can't cosplay is maybe an elementary-graduate only. I'm an Asian and i'm proud because americans liked my culture and that they are showing it by cosplaying. I think people who doesn't like westerners cosplaying shouldn't care at all. peace and freedom to all.

Thank you for sharing this video that promotes the other side of the story. Picking examples of poor Non-Asian cosplays to compare with professional Asian cosplays is a poor argument for their cause (picking and choosing which comments to publish adds to that as well).

I think that any mangaka who have had their manga adapted into an anime that has become popular overseas is delighted to see cosplays done of their characters.

most of these pictures very annoyingly cuts just when u start seeing the face. is there an attempt to hide some not so nice faces of the cosplayers involved? well i can see from their clothes and bodies is all good, but i can't bother to pause every 2sec to see complete picture doh

This Proud dude is a disgrace, I swear. Gosh, not all of use are perfect. Comparing and shit. Like you could cosplay any better, properly photoshop couldn't fix it. Man if i saw him i would kick him in the face anime style. (im asain, and i think western cosplay is prettty cool)

Also unless the asians are black they can't cosplay as Simon Brezhnev (Durarara), they can't also cosplay as Nathan Seymour (Tiger and bunny). Also I agree with the America one too
