A short documentary exploring the culture-shock of competitors arriving in Agra, India, for Microsoft's Imagine Cup 2006.

Our task was to create a completely new film based on the theme "The Imagine Cup Experience" in 36 hours or less. The theme was given to us shortly after we arived in Agra and then we had to create the concept, shoot the film, and edit and polish it before the 36hr time limit was up.

This film in combination with "The Loot" (look at my other video's) earned my team a third place finish in the competition.

  • Nice to see video but it's only one face of Agra

  • @younme4tube Very true, this was my personal experience when I first arrived in india back in 2006. My team and I shot and edited this video within 2 days of landing in Delhi and I was trying to recreate how I felt at the time. But you are very right this is not a very objective film. Thanks!

  • The video along with another short film of ours "The Loot" got us 3rd place in the contest.

  • I plan on going there in Nov. Would you recomend a long drive? I was going to take the express train from Delhi. But it does seem like I might miss some cool things.

  • I would take the train from Delhi. Most of the shots in the video were shot in and around Agra in a car. That first leg of our journey was our first introduction to India, if you're going there you will see these types of images everywhere you go. India's great! I highly recommend spending as much time as you can there. :)

  • @arrogantB13 Ive just come back, went Delhi, then to agra, then to jaipur, then back to Delhi. Id recommend driving... if there's one thing i learnt while i was there, its that youve never seen it all!! You see so many sights along the way!

  • You can not take pictures of Children in the UK or USA. . There are strict rule and law in UK and USA . But in India you have taken camera in your hand and shooting any one. You shuld not do this.

  • it is very humbling to go to india and look at india through a new set of eyes. all the people i met were good, kind hearted people who would give you anything you needed. i think the technology will help india grow in the years to come. so what did microsoft think of your video? i think it was great!

  • Yae! exactly like this! Road to Agra on the way to Taj Mahal - the most must-see place in the world. Unbelivable!
