Time-Warner Cable DVR Recording Dirty Trick!

Time-Warner Cable turns a scheduled DVR recording of Gunsmoke into an hour of the Weather Channel! Proving they can do anything with their homemade Mystro firmware. Around here, TVLand is channel 61 and The Weather Channel is 64. This anomaly may seem like a one time fluke, but it is only the most provable of a long history of dirty tricks. More recently, I've had my Favorite Channels disappear and this week my Series Manager was emptied of all weekly and daily recording choices.

it sounds like you have reflections in the line, on top of an EIA issue. I'd get that checked out. Its not in the cable companies best interest to sing you out for these issues. I work for insight, soon to be time warner, and we deal with this kind of thing a lot.

wtf when i click record series it doesn't record the other episodes of the series

Down with Mystro! They just gave this 'update' to us, and I cannot stand it. It changes my volume setting to 'fixed' by itself every hour, on the hour.
