A quick workshop on adding dynamics to the frailing strum, a look at Patrick's restored Dobro 33D, Obama angel, the Somerset County Seal, the Somerset S-5, red flannel hoodies and other stuff.

Happy New Year! I have a Riley Baker 5 string made in Birmingham. Its solid pewter even the neck! It has no peg at the 5th but the string is thread through the neck and it has a vellum head. I bought it at an auction in St Andrews,Scotland. Does anyone in banjoland know any thing about Riley Baker of Corporation Street Birmingham? Glad you back, I think you are a great teacher and I have improved greatly since discovering your videos on youtube. All the best.
Welcome back! I'm a rookie and had plenty of time to watch several of your postings. I also went to tangier and pik-ware. I bought a banjo and am working at finding out why it sounds like a guitar instead of a banjo. Eventualy I will get it going. I still work at bump dity though! Glad you're back and hope all is well!
