  • woah....

  • So, what was Baudrillard referring to? Everything? Does he mean that when I eat a McDonald's burger, I am merely experiencing a copy of the original McDonald's recipe (which may not be the same now as it was originally)? Hence, a copy without an original? Can this only refer to/does it only work with mass production and physical objects? Or was he also claiming that our emotional responses and perceptions are mere simulations? Counterfeit feelings that we think we ought to feel because we...

  • didn't baudrillard just need to get laid?

isn't philosophy just the province of dudes not getting any?

i know when i've went thru dry spells, i get to thinking crazy shit about why i'm here and stuff.

but when i slide my hands around the waist of some sweet thing, all that flies out of the mind. that ain't no copying of copies. that's my privates and hers, that's her taste, her smell, her touch.

sure some may be missing reality, but she might just be down at the pub.

  • cheers for this. someone explaining it simply unlike nearly every academic outthere.

  • @Danotto9797 "clubbed to death" by rob something.
