  • What the hell did that bloke say near the end of the video???? I'm Australian and I couldn't follow it at all. Freat video, though.

  • @bobsy49 The show's host did a recap of the guests of the show and announced when the next airing would be.

  • nice song - i am happy he is still alive!

  • Dave still is such a charming boy. You simply have to love him!

Though, I`d like to say that in my opinion the lyrics demand a more melancholy look - as he used to perform it when he was young (and sad).

Anyway, a wonderful song, a wonderful person.

  • What a great song! Dave is an amazing artist; the sad irony of his life was to be the brother of an even greater artist, who casts a very long shadow.

  • In abandoned amusement park in my state of Ohio someone wrote some of the songs lyrics on a walk

  • Brilliant, this was one of the songs that came to me by coincidence when shuffling a "best of the kinks" compilation and suddently struck me and made an incredible impression. I just think that the simple sweet melody of the chorus and those sad yet cheerful words set a kind of surreal melancholic atmosphere this song captures so well.

  • i ,ove how dave shout sing after 3 ,then says sorry, 4 ,,,then shouts "3" when the lalalala bit starts classic had me in stiches

  • that's purely sad.

  • I have the vinyl album this song was on so that kind of dates me. Dave and Ray have such talent. I wish they had the same ability to get along that they have in creativity. The Kinks need a better end than the way it stoped.

  • I love him and his music :-)

    xxx

  • Such an attractive and watchable performer - there`s something quite hypnotic about him; a sweetness one can`t help loving. I love all of Dave`s songs and his voice. The egoless Kink.

  • RWEMEBER WHEN THIS FIRST CAME OUT IN THE SUMMER OF 1967)GOOD TO SEE THAT ITS STILL POPULAR (35 YEARS ON) SOUNDS JUST AS GOOD AS IT DID BACK THEN. FORGET YOUR LADY GAGA'S. (WILL HER SONGS STILL BE FONDLY REMEMBERED 30 YEARS ON?) THIS IS WHAT GOOD MUSIC IS ALL ABOUT. GOOD TO HEAR THAT DAVE'S RECOVERING WELL FROM HIS STROKE
