Fremont Street used to be so great in the 1960s and 1970s. Teens would cruise on weekend nights. The El Cortez had great Porterhouse steaks. There was a great buffet at The Mint. The Horseshoe had excellent chili. Also wonderful free entertainment at many casinos.

I stayed at their new Cabana Suites and felt unsafe. Couldn't sleep because of the cops, ambulances, derelicts yelling at each other. I got hit on by bums every time I'd leave my hotel room or go back. Food at the restaurant was sub-par at best. Most disgusting and horrible experience I've had in years. You ever want to wake up from a bad dream but can't? I'm heading back to the strip. Why would you spend money on a nice hotel in a seedy part of town??? I certainly got what I paid for!

Sweet,I was hoping you would show a little more of the vintage smoking room

amen to that. No fountains or volcanoes, just good, cheap booze and gambling.

Thank you! That's what I wanted to see! You did pretty good despite your camera. If you give me the name of that song I will sure do a remake on one like this. Cool vid. Good angles and everything!

Never mind the music (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's "In Like a Rose"), just get that video up ! Downtown threatens to go dark one casino after another.
