@msnmom ummm.....everyone who has a brain knows that if you dont want the letters to be attached you have to move the glass away fast...i did the whole burnin junk with M.G's this year in science( 8th grader speakin) and i drew elmo on a paper...so yea..if i can do that and it not be fake, then he can do the same....get a grip dude.!

I got the fresnel lens out of an overhead projector. It is the nuclear device of ant-burning. You will seriously need welding goggles for this kind of fun. And any fun that requires safety equipment to prevent serious injury?
The best kind.
It will crack rocks, from the temperature difference.

@KurtisWM Where did you get the magnifying glass?Seems like a good one.Will it start fires without direct sunlight(on a cloudy day)?

@Number1Techguru you still do need direct sunlight, but it doesnt require that it be a supper hot day either. It was a hand me down and i dont know where it came from though. sorry
