This one is to Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon! I love their music and the old Blues evergreens but still I wonder now and then, why they have restricted themselves so much to the 12 bars and 3 chords. So here I offer you a blues composition with more sophisticated harmonies and a little longer form and I hope, I succeded in capturing some of the old and timeless blues spirit in my song... From Hamburg to Chicago with love!

Diese Bluesballade habe ich mir im Februar 1994 ausgedacht, als ich mit meiner Freundin Andrea durch Thailand gereist bin. (Ich war sehr verliebt und fand die Vorstellung aufregend, zusammen ein Baby zu machen...) Wir haben das Lied dann mit Ralph Reichert, Johannes Brachtendorf, Uwe Petersen und Basti Jensen aufgenommen und auf der CD "Die Kapelle spielt den Blues" rausgebracht http://www.smackdab.de/cd9602.html . Live haben wir das nicht so oft zum Besten gegeben. Das wird sich nun ändern!
