He was certainly trying to fuck the tennisball. This is the behaviour of a horney parrot. For the best of the parrot i should never give him the ball! It's really sad to see:(

I feel bad for the parrot, to me it doesn't look like he was enjoying it, it looks like he was trying to stand on it and was having a hard time balancing it. No perfect circle exists in nature and no perfect globe shaped rocks exist in nature so I think the parrot doesn't have the ability to understand what's going on (unless trained).
